The majority of sales in Huddersfield during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £121,608. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £173,347, with detached properties fetching £304,393.
Overall, sold prices in Huddersfield over the last year were 2% up on the previous year and 6% up on the 2018 peak of £169,196.”
Therefore, the average price of property in Huddersfield will still be below the nil band rate until the end of September. This provides more time for local property buyers, which is also positive news for local vendors.
