The Great British Life website has an article called “Why You Should Move To Slaithwaite in West Yorkshire”, and Yorkshire Bylines features the location heavily in an article called “Norky’s ramblings: Slawit/Slaithwaite – the best place to live in the North?Of course, the articles follow from the Sunday Times naming Slaithwaite as the best place to live in the North and North East in their 2022 location overview.
These platforms hail Slaithwate as a fantastic place to live, with the Sunday Times celebrating it as a “near perfect place to pursue post-pandemic happiness”. We fully agree, and as locals, we are delighted to see other people speak so highly of the local area.

Overall, sold prices in Huddersfield over the last year were similar to the previous year and 10% up on the 2020 peak of £176,358.”
